  • 1992年 Represented Japan in the World Championships on the NBC program "American Gladiators."
    Represented the US Demonstration Team.
  • 1997年 Second place in the Kobudo category at the Long Beach International Karate Championships.
  • 1998年 Winner in the Karate Kata category at the Long Beach International Karate Championships.
    Organized the Seishindo Karate Tournament. Received letters of appreciation from President Bill Clinton and California Governor Pete Wilson.
  • 2001年 Featured and appeared on the TV Asahi documentary program "Miraimono" as a martial artist active in the US.
    Appeared in an Orico Card commercial (co-starring with Leonardo DiCaprio and providing fight choreograph instructions).
    Served as an international print model for NOKIA.
    Produced and hosted the Los Angeles-based Media One show "Sensei Taka Show."
    Performed in a martial arts demonstration on NBC's " Tonight Show With Jay Leno".
  • 2003年 Instructed stage fight choreography for the "Seven Samurai Game" at Tokyo Game Show.

  • 2007年 Appeared as a martial artist and samurai in the NHK Taiga drama "Koumyo ga Tsuji," the NHK Saturday Jidai drama "Kagerou no Tsuji," and the Toei film "Geki Rangers."
    Instructed karate for the satellite program "Tatakau Onnanoko."
    Serialized a self-defense blog in Kodansha (until 2008).
  • 2011年 Published "Kata Kyohon."
    Held and performed a karate and kobudo demonstration at the Itabashi Citizens' Festival (until present).
